Camera Critters #46
Anyone who shops at Costco knows that there's usually an assortment of odd shaped boxes at the check-out stands. Kalea Kitty loves the Costco boxes... here she is inspecting a Mango Nectar box.
After she climbed out of the box, I flipped it over and placed her toy mice on top. See how she eyeballs the mice while pretending to rub her chin on the corner of the box?
I captured her "innocent look" while she was peeking through the cardboard cut outs...
Here we see her "evil look"... this photo reminds me of the old cartoons where the cat is peering into the mouse hole at the terrified mice. Eeek!

Camera Critters #45
In addition to being Valentine's Day, February 14th is also Trooper's 1st birthday. This is Trooper's actual Humane Society photo. Look at how small he was!
Here's our little guy on the day we brought him home.
Not everyone was thrilled about the new addition to our family. Lol!
Trooper is a wonderful hiking companion...
And he always keeps us laughing!
Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!

Camera Critters #44
A couple of mornings ago, I noticed Kalea Kitty staring at something on our front deck. She was chattering her teeth and twitching her tail so I knew she was excited about something!
At first I thought she was looking at this guy...
But when I followed her line of sight I noticed this Northern Flicker hanging nearly upside-down on the bottom of the bird feeder. Luckily my camera was nearby and I was able to take a couple of pictures before the Flicker flew away. (You can enlarge the image by clicking on the photo.)
